The Dark Challenge [Open to Xavier]

Kade knew the only way to get stronger is by challenging stronger or near strong opponents but however there was one that he's been waiting to fight for a while. This shinigami maybe have defeated him long ago but the man has mature over the years into a fine squad member. Xavier Leblanc that was his name but however the ex-shinigami has learned a few abilities and powers no match against a captain but however maybe against his rival. Kade wasn't sure if by some chance he was able to defeat Xavier finally put some personal demons to rest still a lot of things were brewing in his mind. A new strategy and new trainings needed to be finished before moving his way up to the top something he'd never did before. But this needed to be put to rest and defeating Xavier would calm his nerves. "Alright, I know your out there.....Show yourself so I can finally close this chapter and move on to the new one" He said.

There, right there he could see him on the screen. It had been a long time since he had fought against the man he saw there, an ex-shinigami named Kade. 'Man this would be a plast from the past' Xavier thought to himself as he ordered all records of this area to be erased, and none of the information be brought to the captain. He wasn't sure how his superior would react to him leaving work to only fight. The purple haired Lieutenant got up from his seat with a smile it was time.

"So you intend to win? I should warn you someone like yourself wouldn't fare well aginst my new powers" Xavier said as he appeared behind Kade. His eyes were slits and he wore a scowl on his face instead of his oft used smile. While he wasn't fearing death for either combatant this was still serious.

Kade knew this wasn't going to be easy however this rivalry might grow instead of ending if he was to defeat him maybe he'll develop a grudge against him. Still he wanted a good fight and Xavier was one to fight no matter how strong he's become. "I must admit your spiritual pressure is a bit strong then my own sooner or later that will change" He said. Kade turns around using his flash step quickly enough to get around a steady tree branch looking at his opponent. "Now, Let use see if you defeat me now once but twice BRING IT" He said.

Kade rushed his flash step quickly at Xavier wondering how well his reaction will be as ex-shinigami was going a punch to the face.

'Oh this'll be fun' Xavier thought to himself as he noticed the former Vice flash step past the tree. He had a feeling that this would last a long time, how long he didn't know but the way he figured there would be no clear winner. This was a fight to gain skills from, and Xavier wanted to use it for what he could. Oh he would try to make this fight go in his favor, but Kade was definitely getting close to his power. "Hah, you sure you don't want to try fighting with rock, paper, scissors? You would have a better chance" Xavier taunted Kade with a smile.

Kade rushed forward, and Xavier used a back flip to dodge the first attack and launch one of his own. Hopefully he could force Kade backwards and use some Kido.

Kade started rubbing his face thinking that was good the same way he attacked before maybe a better skill was needed, he couldn't believe how powerful the kid got. "Ha, Ha...very funny this shouldn't be decided by fists anyway that was something new from my arsenal" He said. Quickly, Kade had his zanpakuto drawn make a downward slash on the tree branch and actually kicked the big thing at Xavier's attention.

Kade thought maybe he would have to be calm words couldn't speak louder then actions meaning the time for talk had ended. Then right behind the tree branch coming Xavier's way he charged waiting for opening to show itself.

Xavier got what he wanted, and in a split second he decided on the kido to use against Kade. It was Haien, the spell was a small purple ball that would take out anything it hit. Of course he expected to use this against Kade, and not the tree now coming his way. So he stored it as he ripped the claymore sized katana from his back and chopped the tree in half, he then dropped his sword to one hand then raised his palm towards Kade. "Hado number fifty four, Haien" Xavier said shooting the hado at Kade completely open to any attack if the man could get past the attack.

Pieces of the tree branch hit his face really it should have been a slap all those times being a vice captain and he's never knew any kido and he managed to get the academy without them. This should be a lesson of why Kade should started learning kido powers because any shinigami could attack you with them. He silently said "Blood, darkness, come unto me! OiMyou Kyoukan" The zanpakuto transformed into the shikai state as Kade get back to his getting back into a fighting stance. The Kade thought he would surprise his rival by saying "Kashou Renda" and seven small burning rocks floating around the blade.

They appeared small at first but once Kade pointed his zanpakuto points at Xavier, one the burning rocks starts started growing big. Kade shot the big lava rock at his rival thinking the lava rock has the same speed as a cero attack.

The kido blew the first rock up in a huge explosion that consumed the rock with the lava spilling onto the ground creating a pool in between the two opponents. Xavier brought his sword up again noticing his opponent had already unleashed his Shikai. "Do you want to see?" the Lieutenant asked as he charged forward with his sword, leaping over the lava pool and sending a slash downwards at Kade.

"Xavier, I thought you of all people knew of the increased strength" Now Kade started getting a bit mad as he looked at Xavier's slash but he takes the hit injuring his shoulder a bit. Did Xavier know spiritual power wasn't everything? Kade had been training constantly improving his strength but seeing his shoulder bleeding knew his opponent was strong in power.

Kade slaps Xavier's blade off his shoulder and violently rushing in attacking him at his stomach with one hard punch. "That came of the humiliation for the last time remember" he said.

The Soul Reaper was surprised his attack went though, and as Kade rushed up to him he was defenseless. Xavier doubled over his opponents fist as he let out all his breath. "Oh I do, Corrupt their dreams Akumabito" Xavier said as he brought his blade upwards trying to lightly cut Kade. Even though the punch hurt, Xavier kept his eyes on Kade's the whole time not breaking the gaze even while being punched.

Kade thought he was going for another attack with his blade maybe he didn't know he could do the same technique again. He allowed Xavier to attack him again and this time it hurt getting him right in the arm but a smirk came on his face. Kade grabbed Xavier's blade & pointed his zanpakuto at him saying Kashou renda and a burning lava rock hit Xavier's face hard almost a fast cero blast.

The pain was immense, but it worked perfectly as he fueled the nightmarish realm he now plunged Kade into. The world turned dark and inverted as Xavier held his burning face attempting to heal it with some healing kido he knew. The nightmare began slowly but, it soon had Kade in it's grasp pushing him into a dream of his own choosing for the Soul Reaper Lieutenant to distort.
