End of the Storm [Open]

Slow, soft rain showered the Soul Society as Soifon sat in her office, staring out the window at the gray sky. It was the kind of rain that calmed you, made you feel safe and secure. Soifon was glad the rain was finally slowing down. It had been raining hard all day. In fact, it had been raining hard almost every day for a week! Soifon didn't really mind the rain as long as she was someplace inside, but she hated having to walk to her division office every day, soaked and shivering, then have to wait an hour for her clothes to dry. Soifon had finished her paperwork a while ago, but had stayed in her office since it was still pouring out.

Now she stood up, stretched, and opened the door, stepping out into the drizzle. The sun was just beginning to peek out of the clouds, and the rain slowed even more. Members of the 2nd division were now walking about, socializing, glad that the storm was over. Soifon nodded to them as she started to walk about her division, making sure everything was in order and nothing had been damaged much by the storm. She longed to train, but the grounds were still muddy, and she didn't want to take the chance of slipping and falling face first into the mud.

Trenton looked up at the sky as the rain fell against his skin " Rain, Lets hope this slight drizzle doesn't put the Captain in a bad mood" Trenton walked out of the 1st Division Barracks and looked around and then started walking towards the 2nd Division Barracks.After a few moments he found himself in the 2nd Division Barracks and not long after his arrival he saw Captain Soifon walking around doing he duties he suppose " Guess now is the best time to introduce myself as the new 1st Division Lieutenant " Trenton increased his speed to catch up to the Captain until he was in talking distance " Captain Soifon?"

Soifon paused for a minute at a large tree branch that had fallen into the middle of the street. Best get this out of the way as soon as possible.

"You, and you," she called out to two of her subordinates, who quickly ran over to her. "Move this branch; it is blocking the road. We cannot have such things in the division; it makes us look unorganized." her voice was sharp and cold, and the subordinates flinched at the sound of it.

"Yes, Captain," they replied, bowing quickly, fear evident in their eyes. They knew what it was like when Soifon was displeased with something. Quickly they lifted the branch and began to carry it down the road to dispose of it elsewhere.

"Lazy," Soifon muttered under her breathe, shaking her head in disgust. "It was lying right in the middle of the street; you think they would have seen it and got rid of it before."

The captain began to walk again, to make sure her subordinates had done a better job cleaning if their had been another problem like this, but stopped when she heard a voice call out to him. Turning, she saw who she recognized as the first division lieutenant.

"I'm... I'm 7th Division Captain... Sashinga Tenge!!..." The bloody arm of the blue haired boy was laying detached from his body, on the floor. He was heavily wounded, barely standing on his two legs - one of them being broken and almost twisted. In-front of him, the demon stood, that slayer, that very same individual that was chasing him all this time through the rain of Soul Society. He was almost untouched at all, simply being way too powerful even for that Captain. But after seeing the Captain Commander commanding him to do whatever he can to return to his job, in other words to be safe, he couldn't allow himself to just lose. Activating his Bankai right away, he appeared behind the demon, the character being full of slashes and bleeding half to death. "And I'm not going to lose to the likes of you! Not here... Not ever!...." The opposing enemy slashed at the Captain, but the boy stopped the blade with his hand, barely feeling anything and proceeding to the slaying of the demon. Just then, 3 much larger animals appeared from the ground - resembling a humanoid rhino, zebra and koala. "More enemies...? Bring it on!..." He said as he rushed at them.

Lightning, followed by rumble was caused due to the weather in Seireitei - the last ones of this day, which by chance caused the Captain to wake up from his messed up dream. Looking outside, he saw the rain and simply decided to not take a shower today - using nature's gift instead. The rain didn't interrupt him at all and neither did the cold temperature caused due to it, and he immediately walked outside (still dizzy from waking all of the sudden - probably tackling a wall or two in the process) into the rain - to get a proper way of waking up. But unfortunately, plans don't usually go too well. It's been raining all week, non of the days interrupted the Captain's missions and events he ran with his squad members. He trained if he wanted to, he strolled if he wanted to. The muddy grounds of Seireitei somehow reminded him in a way the ground and soil he walked upon when he was younger, so much younger than today, back in Rukongai.

Standing idly outside with his face directed to the sky, the rain soon turned into a drizzle and then into almost nothing. How unfortunate. He opened his eyes slowly, being dazzled by the sun that just popped out of the clouds (in his mind. He actually fell asleep standing, which is why it looked like such a short time for him). Returning to his house to get dressed properly, Tenge thought about the weird dream he just went through. Who in the world could possibly look like a rhino humanoid? Seriously. There wasn't much to do about it though, it was strolling time after all.

But first - clothes. Proper ones, actually. A Captain walking in the white shitagi isn't appropriate at all.
