Kidou: Studying, Practicing and using Kidou is one of Kojiro's favorite things to do. He just likes to learn...

Water: Who doesnt like water?!?!?! Only cold water though...hot water...is meh Cold Wind: Cold wind, cold breeze, Kojiro finds these all pleasurable.

Training: Since he wishes not to disappoint or to displease his Captain, Kojiro trains hard not only at his swordplay, but also with his binding spells.

Studying: Reading, reading,reading.

Playing his Violin & Piano: Kojiro's favorite pastime. Combining this while watching the snow fall, puts Kojiro into a moment of bliss.

Technique & Speed: When fighting, Kojiro uses technique and speed instead of brute power. A combination of sword strokes and Shunpo is Kojiro's most basic attack pattern.

Hot Food: Kojiro's taste has nothing to do with hot foods. Anything spicy or even heated past a certain temperature will cause Kojiro's face to pout in disgust.

Loud Noises: Always a quiet person especially when he was young, Kojiro finds loud harsh noises distasteful to his ears. Only slight pleasant sounds like the ones that come from his violin, does Kojiro enjoy to hear.

Sunny Days: The sun seems to drain Kojiro's energy mentally. When the sun's out, Kojiro feels......real..............sluggish......it might just be laziness though

Sushi: Just a food he does not like....it tastes weird to him

False Information: Why the hell would someone tell someone else information that is wrong?

Pain Durability: Because of Kojiro's past, the pain receptors in his body have dulled. That does not meant hat he does not feel pain, it just means that it takes more and deeper cuts for him to say "ouch."

Enhanced Speed: Ever since joining the academy, Kojiro has shown great skill in his speed. This is not only movement speed. Speed at moving his limbs, drawing his sword, even saying his chants, all through rigorous training have been increased beyond that of almost all average shinigami.

Ken:

Kidou/Chanting: Hado. Often used as a last resort, Kojiro will use hado against his opponents to injure or scare them into leaving. Never used in0front of his captain for it is well known especially to him how much Shiko dislikes the usage of Hado. Almost the complete opposite than his captain, Kojiro uses mostly hado and is still learning bakudo from Shiko.

Apprentice to the Master: With his Captain being a master at the healing arts, Kojiro himself holds a few skills himself. He practices his skill on those who come into the stations injured and have been showing steady progress all through his years.

Weaknesses:

No "Backbone?": Because of Kojiro's quiet demeanor, people often come to decisions before he can give his input. Because of that, it seems as if the decision was made for him and hence creating the illusion of him not being able to stand up for himself.

Eating ice Cream: Ice cream, Ice Cream, Ice Cream....mint, chocolate, vanilla and sometimes a combination of all three. This is one of the only ways to bribe Kojiro.

Habits:

Twirling his Hair: When he's bored, Kojiro could be seen twirling his hair while sitting down or standing up. He does this unconsciously

Running A Hand Through his Hair: When Kojiro is frustrated, he runs a hand through his hair to help him cool down.

Zanpakuto Information

Zanpakuto Name: Ayame Tenshi no mizu to kori

Zanpakuto Looks: [spoiler]

In its sealed form, Kojiro's Zanpakutou looks like a normal sword with no hilt. The design on the sheath is said to represent the elegance of water and the solid beauty of ice. With the weight of an average katana at 2.8lbs and the extremely sharp with a length of 15inches, Kojiro fully uses this sword to its extent by combining it with his fighting style "Heaven's Snow."

When preforming shikai, Kojiro will bring his sword in-front of him and say the one word release. Once it is said, his sword will shatter into pieces only to reform in its shikai form. A hilt guard appears while the sword becomes more glossy and aqua blue in color. It is said to be made by Ayame herself. The sword will then drip water as it forms four orbs. From these orbs, attacks and defenses in the form of water and ice can be done.

From the orbs, Kojiro can either attack with water based attacks such as tendrils, waves and rain. Or defend with ice based defenses such as an ice shield, ice armor, or ice spikes. Offensive, Kojiro will use water based attacks like, water tendrils and cuts in combination with his swordplay. The enemy can also be kept far away using ranged attacks.

Defensive, Kojiro will use ice based defenses like an ice shield, ice sphere or even coating parts of his body about to be stricken with ice to stop of lessen the lethality of a blow. Another way Kojiro can defend himself and also make an attack out of it, is surrounding himself with spikes made out of ice that fire out in all directions.

Drawback: Over the top attacks take more of a toll on Kojiro mentally. To much stress on this part could cause him to lose focus rendering his shikai useless.

Hono:

Tengoku no katto: Heaven's Cut
Charging his sword with spiritual energy, Kojiro preforms a slash with his sword that sends off a wave of energy with intense cutting/slicing ability. (like getsuga tensho) 4usage per battle, 2 post cooldown

Name:Seikuken (Ken style)

A defensive technique that involves controlling the entire radius within one's arm length, creating an impenetrable shield around oneself. With this, Kojiro is able to use his weapons and extend the range to several feet around them with the additional length of their weapons, allowing them to defend even at all ranges. At his current level, Kojiro can even extend the range with minimal lengths by using air pressure. The Seikūken can only be erected with a calm mind (i.e. jumping around or moving will make it difficult). if one is not calm, it would be near impossible for him or her to erect the Seikūken. Because of this, Kojiro constantly meditates to keep a calm mind. His version of Seikuken comes from the original though with a bit of kenjutsu added in. Mainly a taijutsu move, Kojiro has adapted it to his various forms of Heaven's Snow. User can block attacks that enter his Seikūken automatically if his body can react fast enough. This has been self taught and is still raw overall.
Downside:Seikūken leaves the legs defenseless, as the technique mainly involves the use of the upper body. It is also not well suited against combination attacks since its purpose is to deflect incoming attacks.

Kojiro Yanagihayurashi: Shadow body
Description: A special movement technique where user seemingly fades away, almost becoming invisible from the speed the user is moving at. He looks like a ghost, but that is only the image of where the person was. 3per battle 3post cooldown

Name: Kojiro Yanagi hayurashi (Kojiro Willow Leaf Walk)
An ancient jujistu technique that tricks the opponent into thinking the user disappears by having the user stay in the opponents blind spot. The user wears long pants to hide his knee movement and make an illusion of his center of gravity(in Kojiro's case its his shishihakusho). He then enters the opponent's blind angles and makes use of the opponent's slightest movement to cut them. While the opponent thinks the user is gone and tries to retreat the user can surprise the opponent with a surprise attack. The enemy can see through this by either sensing Kojiro's spiritual energy to keep track of his movements(following with their senses and not their eyes).

Hakuda:
Shunpo (瞬歩, Flash steps), a movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. As speed is the main point of the technique the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least amount of steps.

Utsusemi (空蝉, Cicada, referencing their molting): It allows for a movement at great speed leaving an afterimage behind. The afterimage may even appear to have taken damage.

Hanki (反鬼, Reverse Demon)
Description:An ability which nullifies an opponent's Kidō by hitting it with another one of perfectly opposite speed and energy. The ability can even neutralize an opponent's movements.

Ryuusei Seikuken:
Description: A more advanced Seikūken reduced to a thin layer of skin to anticipate the flow of the opponent. The user must be absolutely calm to use it, as even a slight degree of emotion will disrupt it. By anticipating the flow, the user can clam down angered opponents, by seemingly getting into their head. With their flow anticipated, the users opponents attacks can be dodged within the smallest margin. The downside, is constant use is a strain on Kojiro's body at his skill level. Using it in prolonged battles could end in some serious side effects. being in squad 4, Kojiro constantly researches for ways to help his body cop with the strain.

Bakudo:
Sai: Sai is used primarily to disable an opponent. The practitioner points using his/her index and middle fingers at the intended target(s) causing the targets arms to lock behind their back. The spell is usable on a single target or a significantly large group of people.

Hado:
Shō (衝, Thrust) Pushes the target away from the caster.

Byakurai (白雷, Pale Lightning) The user fires a concentrated, powerful lightning bolt from their finger.

Shakkahō (赤火砲, Shot of Red Fire) Fires a ball of red energy at a target.
Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!" (the incantation from the manga is Ruler the mask of blood and flesh, heat and war from ebyond the seas in reverse take steps to the south, hado #31 shakkaho)

Sōkatsui (蒼火墜, Blue Fire, Crash Down) Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target in a similar manner to #31, but over a wider area and with more power.
Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws." (manga incantation: ruler the mask of blood and flesh all things in universe fly that which names all, truth and temperance slight claw at the dream wall which brooks no sin, hado #33 Sokatsui)

April 17st, the winter solstice was the birth day of Kojiro. Born into a beautiful family of full fledged Yuki clan members, Kojiro was brought up with love and care. His father a proficient kendo dojo master/school teacher, his mother a skilled policewoman, his grandmother a skilled medic now retired, Kojiro was brought up with great joy. To help him stand up for his first time was not the arm of a loved one, or the couch or chair, it was shinai. From when he could hold one in his hands, Kojiro was taught in the ways of the sword.

Going to school at his father's school, Kojiro stayed out of the way of the other students while focusing on his studies. He was scouted for the school track team and agreed to join. All times of dashes was his specialty though he exceeded overall. At the ripe age of 15, Kojiro had a girlfriend and leaving her house after another successful date. Though something happened on his way home. He could have sworn he had looked both ways before crossing the street though that did not fix the fact that he was hit.

Laying there dying, Kojiro thought about his life up until then and slowly faded to black.

Opening his eyes, Kojiro woke up in what he learned was the Inuzuri district of the Rukongai, the land outside of the Soul Society. He was new to the area, it was strange and confusing though he slowly learnt his way around. He stayed at an inn, owned by an elderly lady who had taken a fancy to him. She allowed him to stay for free as long as he helped with most of the chores. Kojiro nodded at the fact that at least he was working for his stay.

1 day, a group of men arrived at the inn. They simply looked around, and before they left, noticed kojiro lifting some heavy bags. The most gaunt of the men, looked in earnest and quickly called and spoke with the elderly lady. There seemed to be a bit of a disagreement though it quickly resolved as Kojiro walked over, concerned for the elderly lady's safety. The men left as quickly as they arrived, though the same gaunt man took a longing look at Kojiro before he left.

Kojiro found himself late at night, cleaning up what was left of the boxes in the front of the inn. As he turned his back, he was jumped and tied up, beaten and thrown into something, that quickly started to move. There were hushed voices and Kojiro knew that he had been kidnapped. Feeling his blood trickle down his head, Kojiro figured that he had been hit on his head, as that and the combined head sickness he felt growing convinced him. Quickly he fell into a pitch black hole, throwing him into unconsciousness.

Kojiro was woken up by a blast of cold water. He was in a room, well if you could call it that, made out of stone. In front of him was oh great, the gaunt man from the inn. Kojiro questioned him and his men 5 in total who all stood there in front of him. In return for an answer, were spits and laughs. In rage, Kojiro tried to launch himself at the gaunt man and his allies but quickly found out that his wrists had been chained tot he wall behind him. A draft from an unknown opening, brought his attention to his certain articles of clothing he was missing. Where was he.

"Hey little boy, your one good piece of meat arent cha?"

the gaunt man said. Kojiro merely looked into his face, unable to do anything, but then a thought passed through. Gathering what little spit he had, Kojiro launched it into the man's face. It connected much to kojiro's amusement though he would not have been prepared for what that would in return cause. Cursing the man left waving his hand to the group of men who disgustingly licked their lips. Advancing on the bound Kojiro, the men begun to undo their pants chuckling about the time they were about to have.

Time had pasted. Kojiro could not say though how much. Everyday seemed like eternity for the "jobs" that he was forced to do and have done to him, forced him to remove himself mentally from his body for sometimes hours. After each session, Kojiro found himself, sweaty, sticky and smelling horrible. They refused him a proper bath. The closest thing he got to one was a bucket of water thrown on him after couple of sessions. Kojiro woke up to the grunting of a man. He turned his head to meet the body of a man he vaguely remembered entering his caged prison sometime earlier. The groaning of the bars keeping him in, sounded throughout the room as a man entered nudging the sleep man. He awoke with a start, chuckled and left with the man, paying some coins while he spoke about another meeting. trying to sit up, Kojiro noticed something strange. After each session certain parts of his body ached tremendously though there were some news ones this time around. Feeling something build in his mouth, he spit it out....blood. Turning his head, Kojiro felt dizzy as he noticed that he also was only looking out of one eye.

Leaning against the wall, Kojiro heard shouting and cursing from the other side of the bars of his cage. He guessed that the gaunt man had noticed his condition and was doing something about it. Kojiro felt extremely cold as a slight wave of sickness washed over him.

Kojiro woke up to a cold towel on his head. There was an elderly man who was aiding him. He spoke to Kojiro, and explained where he was and what had been happening to him. He visited many times and nursed Kojiro back to health though was often scolded for random reasons by the gaunt man and his men. It was morning when the elderly man came, he said it would be his last visit,. Kojiro thanked him as he mentally prepared himself for what he assumed the rest of his life would consist of. The man chuckled and removed several slabs of stone. Kojiro wondered how the frail looking man could have done this, though what the stones hid interested him even more. Out he pulled a sword where then gripped tightly in his hands. Standing up, the old man freed Kojiro and told him to follow him. It was amazing how the old man handled the sword, though he helped Kojiro outside of the building no, dungeon he was being held in and outside into the street. Still naked, Kojiro found some cloth and wrapped it around him as the old man lead him away from the building.

Kojiro was free. Not only that, the old man, who was not as old as he looked offered to teach Kojiro what he knew so that did not happen again. Kojiro accepted and from then on was taught in the ways of the sword. Old memories seemed to float into his mind as the familiar practices quickly came back to his body as if by reflex. A few months passed as Kojiro studied and improved though a seemingly ever-lasting memory of what had happened to him stayed in his mind.

One day, the old man suggested that Kojiro should try out for the academy. Kojiro agreed and went to do the entrance exam. he got in, though it was a rough go. Kojiro went to all his classes, and preformed well in each one. One class though, he showed extra interest in and it showed in his performance. One day during class, he was approached by a man. The man suggested that kojiro stay and focus mainly on Kido, by doing that he would be able to join a group known as the Kido Corps and would continue to grow in that field. Kojiro agreed though he had wished to have a term placed specifically for him. He would go, only if he was allowed to practice his swordsmanship.
The term was accepted and Kojiro continued his studies focusing on those two fields.

Again, it was suggested to Kojiro that he take an exam to become one of the 13 court guards. He wished to refuse, but was pressed. Kojiro listened to what each company was known for, and met each of their Captains. Since leaving the old man and joining the academy, Kojiro had lived on the school grounds. He stayed away from most kids, for he was not able to relate to them. He eyed and held no trust for most adults because of his past experience. Though he wondered who he could speak to, for he felt his body going through things that he could not explain. Rather not his body, but his mind. He has had girlfriends before, they were drawn to him because of his "tough boy" demeanor and his ruthless way of fighting while in kendo. Though a question that kept appearing before him, one that he could not answer was, "Why did it seem that he held the same feelings for other boys as he held for the girls.?" When kojiro saw a cute girl, he imagined several things. Holding her, kissing her things along those lines. Though when he would see a boy of equal or greater looks, the same images would pass through his mind. They often made him blush forcing him to either look away or look upwards, his scarf blocking the smile that would often creep upon his face.

As each Captain spoke to the class, there was one who did not speak. He had someone speak for him as he watched the students and then gracefully left as quickly as he came. There was that feeling again. As soon as he laid eyes on the man, Kojiro felt a need to be held by that man. To be in his arms. At that moment, Kojiro swore to do his best to try and get as close tot hat man as possible. He learned that he was the Captain of Squad 4. So when it was time for Kojiro to take the exam, he knew exactly where to wish to go.

Some time had passed, and Kojiro was relieved to find out that he had been accepted with open arms into the Squad 4 company. Through hard work and tough training, Kojiro rose up the ranks to Lieutenant. Learning more and more about his Captain, Kojiro had gotten the closeness that he had wished for all those years ago though, he still wanted more. What more he could not say, though the urges of his body could not be ignored. Each time those urges came upon him, the memories of his past would appear fresh in his mind.

Everyday since making Lieutenant, Kojiro has not only created his own fighting style but he has also stayed loyal to his captain, refusing himself to disrespect or disappoint his Captain.

She woke up with a start. It’s still dark, but she begins to get ready to leave the inn. “Time to get going.” She whispers to her brother who was up looking out the window. He smiles and follows her out the door and down the stairs. They reached outside and started down the path into the forest.
“The sun’s been up for a while now, let’s stop to eat.” Their squad leader says looking back to Yuki’s brother who was carrying the pack. He nods and lowers his pack onto the ground. “Maybe you should let me carry all the stuff…….do your shoulders hurt?” Yuki asked as she watched her brother unpack some food. He shakes his head, breaks off some bread giving her half. Yuki takes it, walks off to a tree, leans on it and takes a bite. She watches as the Jounin and the other genin on the team also went to her the pack for the food.Yuki’s brother got up and walked over to her just as a giant breeze blew. Suddenly there was 3 shinobi surrounding the Jounin and genin.

“We gotta help!”Yuki’s brother said running in. Yuki threw down her piece of bread and ran in behind her brother. “I gotta protect him.” She thought “I gotta help everyone so that they don’t die.” Before she could react one of the enemy ninja appeared in front of Yuki’s brother. He had a kunai in his hand and was about to attack. “Shun!” Yuki screamed. Their Jounin then rammed a kunai into the side of the assailants’ head. He smiled at them, letting down his defenses, which is why he didn’t see the enemy jounin stab him in his stomach and pushed him up against a tree. The genin that was with the squad leader ran up beside Yuki. “Help him!!!” he yelled shaking her shoulder. “You got help him!” Yuki panicked and didn’t notice the kunai the genin had.

Before she could react Shun appeared in front of her and said “Hone o Kotei Panchi!”(Punch that freezes the bone) and hit the genin in his face. Yuki smiled a silent thank you to Shun and then turned her attention to their jounin leader. He was doing a jutsu with his and the enemy jounin’s hand. “No sensei don’t use that! It’s forbidden!” Yuki cried out. “Its ok. Its only him alive right now and you 2 can make it to the village. Nice meeting you.” He said and with that he yelled out “Souja Sousai no jutsu!” (Double snake assassination) Yuki watched as both bodies slowly slumped to the floor. Shaken she turned to see Shun being held up by his neck by the last enemy ninja. “He said you were dead…” Shun said in between breaths. “I’m not, but u will be right now..” the shinobi said as he pulled back his kunai n went to stab Shun. ‘No!” Yuki yelled as she formed hand signs at blinding speed. “Ninja Art: Hyohkei! (Ice wall)” A wall of ice came up from the ground, causing the ninja to drop Shun as it separated them both. Yuki used shunshin to get to Shun and knelt down.

“Here let me heal your wounds.” She said “Iyashi no Te”(hands of healing) and began to heal Shun’s wounds around his neck. “Don’t think your done with me!” the ninja said as he ran and punched the wall. He punched and punched and then broke the wall. Yuki turned and stood , no longer shaking. “Come now girl I don’t wanna hurt u.” he said walking up close to Yuki, kunai raised. He stayed within arms length of her and slashed at her face. Yuki took a step in with her right, ducked under his arm, and said “Kori No Tachi”(touch of ice)” and hit under his arm, his chin, the right side of his waist, his right leg, spun right and hit the back of his neck under his other arm and his leg.

She finished with another spin putting her back in the spot she started from. “You think little hits like those are gonna stop…..me?” the enemy shinobi said as ice started to spread from where Yuki hit him. “Now that you can’t move, tell me who sent u here?” Yuki asked passively. “Like I’d tell a small fry like u...” the ninja said scoffing at her. “Why won’t you tell me? It’s the least you could do since you killed my comrades.” Yuki said getting a bit emotional. “Well you never know….maybe I did them a favor…” the ninja started to say but Shun was to quick. Shun ran from behind Yuki, and stabbed the ninja in his neck with a kunai. “Shun! Why’d you…..do that? He didn’t have 2 die...” Yuki said. “Yes he did…” Shun said looking down.

Shun then hacked as blood shot out of his mouth. “Shun are you okay?” Yuki said walking closer. “No…he’s not, he’s about to die and so are you.” It was the same shinobi from before. “I thought I froze you..” Yuki said staring in disbelief. “Well you did, but it was a clone.” The shinobi said pointing at the piece of wood with a kunai stabbed into it. “Crap we were careless.” Shun thought to himself as he tried to move. “Damn I cant move, I….I can’t help her.” He thought putting his head down in shame. “Ur going to 2 die now…girl..” the shinobi said moving closer flipping a kunai in his hand. Yuki crumpled with her hands on her head. “I can’t believe Shun’s dying! I have to save him. But I can’t….my power right now isn’t enough.” Yuki kept thinking to herself.

Then she heard a voice. “I can help you u know. All u have to do is mentally step aside and let me “protect” Shun for you.”” Do you have enough power?” Yuki asked the voice. “Yes I do.” “Hey, girl are you okay? Cracking under the pressure aren’t u? that’s just why girl’s shouldn’t be ninja, because they can’t handle the……” the shinobi stopped mid-sentence as he saw the girl stand back up slowly. “Your going to die now ok?” the girl in Yuki’s body said. Shun managed to raise his head to match the voice to a face. He noticed it was a strange voice coming from Yuki’s body. “I’ve heard that voice before.” Shun said. “I have to stop it the only way I know how.” Shun said struggling the nearest tree.

The shinobi ran at Yuki with a kunai in each hand charged with chakra. “ Can I tell you something? My name isn’t Yuki anymore, unknown shinobi. My name is Sujouki. And now you die.” Sujouki snapped her fingers and said Kaze No Yaiba.(Wind Blade)” A gust of wind came and slashed the shinobi from his top left side down to the opposite side waist. Mouth opened, eyes wide, the shinobi died before he hit the floor. “Now that’s a good feeling. I wonder if his blood is still warm…” Sujouki said walking towards the body. Suddenly something on her left moved towards her. Sujouki turned and grabbed the blur. “Shun? Are you trying to die?” Sujouki asked her brother. “I Just want my sister back….” Shun said using what little strength he had to hug Sujouki.

Sujouki’s hand slowly came down and there was a flash of light. “Shun?” Yuki asked. “There is the sister I know.” He said weakly as the last of his strength oozed out of him and he dropped to the floor. “Shun!” Yuki cried out and dropped to the floor. “Iyashi No Te!” she said as she put her hands to Shun’s wounds attempting to heal him. After some time, Shun’s breathing starts to become regular and gains enough strength to stand. “Yuki we gotta get to the village.” Shun said standing up. “Yea. But you gotta take it easy here let me help you.” Yuki said supporting Shun from under his shoulder. “I’ll swear you’l never get hurt like this again.” Yuki whispered to herself as the 2 of them continued to walk through the forest.
